- I have to ask, how is it YOU didn't know the home you agreed to overpay for by $100k was not worth the extra $100k? Obviously, you believed it was worth that much to YOU. That is the whole point. Any given product is worth a certain dollar amount to any given person.

- I agree. We are each responsible for our own decisions. No one should buy a home based on someone else's opinion of its monetary value. It's worth what YOU think it's worth to YOU! No one is going to "protect" you from yourself or YOUR DECISIONS.
